A bit drunk I had to leave the VDAB's annual dinner party at once to catch up my son at school . They alarmed me as he wasn't feelin' well, passing through a strong toxic reaction on Nexavar drugs. It was january, it rained, the weather was cold and grey and I was runnin' scared. By bike I raced like hell from the Antwerp Lotto Arena to my wife's job to the south side of Antwerp City where I had to pick up our Berlingo. Somewhere half past this devilish ride I got struck by a graffiti-drawing which -alcohol/adrenalin-troubled as I was- involuntary hallucinated me back to a rather humiliating chat I had a few days earlier at a wafelenbak-at-home with one of the guests about Flemish-German collaboration during WW II and a trial afterwards with a weird Jewish testimony in favor and the following judicial acquittal, which my dear professor without any doubts or reserves contradicted as a matter of self whitewashing impossibility. He should have showed me a little bit more of an open mind, shame. Later I went the same track to find the graffiti for a picture.
